It is always thrilling to see their eyes light up when they catch the big ones, particularly the kids who have only been exposed to a fishing lake,” he said.

The fact that customers keep coming back says a lot for the captains, according to Tom. “Their great fishing knowledge is a major draw, but it’s more than that. Anglers are usually interested in what the boat captains and mates are doing and how they are working the bait. They take time to answer all of our questions. They are professional, courteous, have a sense of humor, in addition to they sure know how to have a great time. Once you spend time on one of their boats you leave as their friend.”
